I’m Isabelle, a Registered Psychotherapist offering trauma-focused psychotherapy for adults virtually and in person in Peterborough, Ontario.
If you’ve found your way here, you may be carrying more than feels manageable on your own.
Trauma can leave your nervous system on high alert or feeling numb and detached. You might notice anxiety, difficulty sleeping, trouble concentrating, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. Sometimes what we call anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties are actually signs of a nervous system that has been working hard to cope.
My aim is to offer a space that feels steady and collaborative. Therapy doesn’t have to be rushed or overwhelming. We’ll move in a way that supports both insight and regulation, so change feels sustainable.
If this resonates, I offer a complimentary phone consultation to explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
I work primarily with PTSD, complex trauma, dissociation, and chronic pain. I integrate approaches that support emotional awareness, nervous system understanding, and connection with parts of you that developed to cope and survive.
These approaches may include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, attachment-informed therapy, emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness, and body-based practices, depending on what feels most supportive.
My background includes graduate training in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto and undergraduate study in Psychology and Neuroscience and Mental Health at Carleton University. I continue to engage in consultation and ongoing learning to support thoughtful, ethical care.

I offer a complimentary phone consultation to discuss what you’re looking for, see if we’re a good fit, and answer any questions.
The session fee is $175/hour, with shorter and longer sessions prorated accordingly. Sessions are available in 30, 60, and 90 minute durations.
